PARK MONITOR
Park Monitors are the eyes and ears of the park. Their primary
responsibility is to ensure the safety and well-being of all of the park's
guests as well as provide assistance and guidance where needed. It
is the duty of the park monitors to ensure that each guest has an
enjoyable and memorable experience. A park monitor must possess
a friendly disposition, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to remain
calm under pressure.
Things that park monitors do include: Harnessing guests, delivering
safety briefings and gear demonstrations, observing and counseling
guests as they maneuver throughout the park. Most new monitors will
start out spending the majority of their time assisting guests with their
harnesses as well as delivering the safety briefings. Additional skills
will be taught based on aptitude and performance. Monitors must be
able to quickly and competently pick up new skill sets both in training
and on the job while maintaining the highest quality of customer service.
CASHIER
Cashiers are the first person guests see when arriving at the park.
Naturally, a friendly personality is a must. As many guests are not quite
certain what they are signing up for, the cashier must also be adept at
fielding general information questions and explaining what the experience
entails. Cashier duties include selling tickets and merchandise,
answering guest inquiries, and managing wait lists.
The most important requirements are a friendly personality, a positive
attitude, and an excellent work ethic. Strong Computer skills is a must.
Preferred skills include previous experience as a cashier or with
Counterpoint/NCR/Radiant POS. Cashiers must be able to quickly and
competently pick up new skill sets both in training and on the job as well as
maintain the highest quality of customer service.
